Attendance

Attendance is marked from Classes → Attendance, either daily or per period where the institution runs a timetable. A student can have only one mark per day or period.

• Teachers with an Assigned data scope see only their own classes.
• Period Reports summarises attendance across periods, classes and dates.
• Students see their own record under Attendance in the student portal.

In a Hifz institution, attendance (present, late, absent, excused) is recorded in the daily log of Course tracking.

Academic calendar

The calendar holds holidays, exam days and events for the academic year. Everyone in the institution can see it, including students. Working-day settings and holidays decide which days attendance counts against.
