Venues

The schedule

Page	Use it for
Schedule table	Fast entry of each programme's start time, duration, venue and judges
Day columns & breaks	A column per day, with breaks (lunch, tea) that push the rest of the day down

Schedule conflicts, such as a candidate or judge in two places at once, are detected and listed. Resolve each one by moving a programme, or mark it resolved once the organising team has confirmed it can run.

Judges

Scheduling → Judges. Appoint judges, from the institution's teachers and staff or as outside judges, and assign them to programmes. Each judge is given a maximum score.

Judge role	Purpose
Judge	Scores the programme
Chief / lead judge	Breaks ties: when totals are equal, the lead judge's marks decide
Substitute judge	Stands by; an organiser can promote them to a normal judge

Judges get their own login from Access → Panel logins, and score in the judge panel.
