Products and orders

Products

Each product has a name, description, category, price, stock, image and an active switch. The Products tab filters by category and by stock: active only, low stock, out of stock, inactive. Low stock also shows on the Overview.

Orders

An order moves through these statuses:

Status	Meaning
Pending	Placed, awaiting review
Approved	Wallet debited, stock taken
Rejected	Declined; nothing is charged
Cancelled	Withdrawn; any debit and stock are returned

Students order from Store in the student portal. Staff can place orders for students, singly or class by class; see Bulk orders.

The wallet desk

The store's wallet tools record money movements against a student's wallet:

Entry	Effect
Add Funds	Credit, e.g. cash deposited at the counter
Fee Payment	Debit towards fees
Fine / Penalty	Debit
Reward / Cashback	Credit

Each entry is written to the ledger with who recorded it, so the balance can always be explained.
